Personalized Organizer
Until January 25th, you have the opportunity to acquire a personalized organizer containing your previous year's information, serving as an alternative to the blank profile sheet.
You can opt for this in various ways:
Alternatively, you can download the blank profile sheet below in our comprehensive explanation of the process under the "TY 2023 Process" heading.
You can opt for this in various ways:
- Visit our office for a printed copy.
- Request an electronic copy by phone, the only option for this to work is to setup a secure portal for the email address we have on record for you (for married individuals, it will be sent to the taxpayer listed on the return). Once you create a password for the portal, you'll find your requested organizer in the portal.
- Submit an online request on the form at the bottom of the Missing Information page ("Personal Organizer" header).

TY 2023 Process
Due to Nikki's Health, there have been some minor process changes emphasizing additional drop off returns. Same-day service will be a limited amount per day subject to capacity.
Please be sure to have your ID with you and available for our staff.
1) Profile Sheet and Questions:
Please be sure to have your ID with you and available for our staff.
1) Profile Sheet and Questions:
- Complete your profile sheet and questions. Although much of the information may remain the same as last year, it is a requirement from the IRS, and providing this data will significantly expedite the preparation of your return. If it's before January 26th, see above to obtain a personalized organizer.

2) Documents Submission:
- Bring the filled-out form, along with your documents and tax forms (removed from envelopes), to our office. Place them in the provided manila envelope, conveniently located just above the drop-off box inside the entry door. It's important to highlight that for same-day service, all documentation must be printed in advance. If you are unable to print your documentation at a library, office supply store or elsewhere, you will need to do a drop off. You will then note on your profile sheet that you are uploading pages to the guest portal and indicate how many pages you are uploading. You can then submit your unprinted documentation to our guest portal (only available until March 15th). We will process returns in the order they are received.
3) To minimize time in our office there are two options available for your Convenience:
A) For same-day preparation
B) For drop-off return (ending March 15th (subject to change))
- Same-day preparation (must have everything printed) ('new for 2023' this will be limited by capacity per day)
or - Drop off (ending March15 (subject to change))
A) For same-day preparation
- Use kiosk to check in and place yourself on the waitlist. You’ll receive 3 update texts:
- First text: Confirmation upon check-in.
- Second text: Return to our office parking lot.
- Third text: Enter our office waiting room as directed by the preparer.
- Submit the envelope (from the above “Documents Submission” section) to a Sexton's employee.
- If daily capacity is reached, our employee will inform you. You can choose to drop off for preparation or return another day for same-day preparation.
B) For drop-off return (ending March 15th (subject to change))
- Place the envelope in our drop-off box just inside the entry door.
- Anticipate a call from a preparer to address finalizing your return and provide additional instructions. Regular updates on our website will highlight the specific date we're currently focused on for the returns in progress. While being on your date doesn't guarantee a call that specific day, it indicates that we are actively processing returns dropped off on the same day as your documentation.
We appreciate your cooperation, and our team is here to assist you throughout this process. If you are unable to make it to our office, please call us at 812-464-2646 during office hours to discuss our electronic/mail drop-off options. Portals for those who've used them last year can be signed into here.
